Stephanie has an Undergraduate degree in Sociology from Bethel College and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She has worked for Lighthouse Counseling Services for 20 years doing both case management and therapy. Ms. Montgomery is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who enjoys working with children and families with diverse mental health needs. She also enjoys and is experienced in working with women's issues, foster care, adoption and marriage counseling.

From a very young age I knew I wanted to pursue a career as a helper.  I just wanted to meet people where they were - and help.  Little did I know that desire, paired with the right support and opened doors along the way, would lead to a career in mental health.  I love what I do, so much so that it’s sometimes hard to believe it’s my job.  If you need someone to simply come alongside you, wherever you are in the midst of your story, I’d be honored to do just that.
